In 2014, I was assigned to choose a non-profit to create their branding across a variety of mediums. After a friend connected us, I met up with Dustin Scandoval to create branding for his non-profit, Feet That Move. At the time, they didn't have the resources to establish a professional brand. Three years later and they are still using some of the collateral I designed as a student at DBU. Visit the link below to find out more about this incredible ministry.
DBU ANNUAL REPORT
As the full time graphic designer for Dallas Baptist University in 2015-2016. It was my main responsibility to design, photograph and produce a quarterly annual report that was printed and sent to DBU students, alumni, trustees, donors and families all over the globe. The report meshed my love for photography and layout design. I saw each report through a long process of content creating, design, collaboration, editing, and a series of proofing within our university departments, until press checks and print production.
I currently work full time at GM Financial as a Graphic Design Specialist. I work primarily on our inhouse magazine and internal communication pieces such as HR healthy living deliverables.
A final project in my junior design class was to design an annual report. I chose a men's fashion line and photographed all of my friends to ensure my project was original.
SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY
Summer of 2017, I led a 9 man media team during 11 weeks of summer camp ministry at Pine Cove. This team collectively was responsible for tagging over 300 campers every day to our CampLife app. This app sends photos directly to parents through a tagging system. We scanned and organized camper mail digitally through the app technology. We blogged content, shared photo galleries, created daily and weekly highlight videos and managed social media content. God uses camp ministry in really life changing ways and it was a privilege to serve alongside an amazing team.
